Cougars Open CAA Schedule at Towson

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston plays its first CAA game of the season and wraps up a three-game road swing when the Cougars visit Towson on Thursday at 7 p.m. at SECU Arena.
The Cougars (5-5) are looking to snap a two-game skid after dropping decisions at Georgia Southern and Oregon to open the road trip. The Tigers (6-5) have defeated DePaul and played Maryland tough in an 11-point loss to the nationally ranked Terrapins.
Towson holds a 15-5 lead in the series including nine wins in 10 home games. The Tigers had won seven in a row before the Cougars took an 88-72 victory last January at TD Arena. Towson gained a season split one month later with an 84-57 win at SECU Arena.
Following Thursday's game, Charleston returns home to face CAA newcomer North Carolina A&T on New Year's Day at 2 p.m.
