Cougars Receiving Votes in AVCA Top-20 Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team is receiving votes in this week's AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll following the opening weekend of competition.
Charleston collected a pair of votes in the poll to head into the season's second weekend ranked 25th. The Cougars opened the season with a challenging slate at the Stetson Spring Fling last weekend going 1-3 with all three setbacks coming to ranked opponents Florida Gulf Coast, Stetson and South Carolina.
The Cougars return to the sand next Friday and Saturday at Eckerd's Battle on the Bay where they will face off with University of Tampa, Saint Leo, Missouri State and Eckerd in St. Petersburg, Fla.
