
Cougars to Set Sail at North Points #4, Graham Hall Team Race

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team will set sail in two regattas this weekend with the Cougars entering two teams in North Points #4 on Saturday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex while the coed team will also compete at the Graham Hall Team Race on Saturday and Sunday in Annapolis, Md.
Charleston will send both a women's team and a coed squad to the starting line at North Points #4 on Saturday with Emma Tallman skippering A-Division for the women's team with Sophia Browne crewing and Rowan Schanley at heavy. Emily Alfortish will skipper B-Division with Grace Beard at crew and Julia Jeffries at heavy.
Christofor Tella Jr. will skipper A-Division for the coed team with Blanche Merveilleux at crew and Robert Silcox at heavy. Charleston's B-Division squad will consist of Ethan Homberger at skipper, Nina Lubchenco at crew and Garrett Grenauer at heavy.
At the Graham Hall Team Race on Saturday and Sunday in Annapolis, Md., Brandon Geller, Max Anker and Axel Stordahl will skipper with Chloe Hudgins, Noelle Owen and Lucy Klempen crewing and Jack Sutton and Kaelin Stock at heavy. Pierce Ornstein and Anna Sherry will also make the trip as extras.
