SAINT LEO, Fla. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team ran its win streak to five matches with back-to-back 4-1 wins over Saint Leo and Florida Southern on Tuesday afternoon to conclude its Florida swing.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars extended their win streak to four matches with their second victory over Saint Leo in the span of four days defeating the Lions, 4-1, to begin the day. Charleston capped the day – and the trip – with a 4-1 win against Florida Southern in the next match of the afternoon to push its win streak to five matches.
 
PAIR OF THE DAY
Maria Zweig and Emma Falk cruised to a pair of straight-set victories to push their record to 5-0 as a duo since first being paired together over the weekend at Eckerd's Battle on the Bay. The pair opened the day with a 21-19, 21-18 win against Saint Leo's three's before capping the trip with a dominating 21-10, 21-8 victory over Florida Southern's three's.
 
NOTABLES

• Kyra Thompson and Gabi Bailey now lead the team with a 6-1 record on the season and have not dropped a set in five consecutive matches.
• Four pairings posted an unblemished 2-0 record on Tuesday including back-to-back straight set victories for Sky Benjamin and Sofie Vogel at one's.
