
Four Regattas on Tap for Cougars this Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team has another busy weekend ahead with four regattas on the schedule including the SAISA Match Race Championships on Saturday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex.
Charleston will travel to New Orleans to participate in the Sugar Bowl Open and Women's regattas on Saturday and Sunday, and will also make the short trip across the peninsula to take part in the Ashley River Open hosted by The Citadel on Saturday.
Axel Stordahl will skipper A-Division for the Cougars at the SAISA Match Race Championships with Lucy Klempen crewing. Lawson Levine and Garrett Grenauer will represent the College in B-Division.
Junior Grace Squires is slated to skipper A-Division for Charleston at the Sugar Bowl Open alongside senior crew Anna Sherry. Sophomore skipper Emma Tallman and senior crew Roxane Snyder, along with sophomore alternate Sophia Browne, will sail for the Cougars in B-Division.
At the Sugar Bowl Women's, Fredikke Foss will skipper A-Division with senior Noelle Owen crewing. Junior skipper Emily Alfortish and junior crew Chloe Hudgins will represent the College in B-Division.
Freshmen Diego Carvajal and Marina Dryer are scheduled to sail in A-Division for the Cougars at the Ashley River Open with Harrison Thomson and Brylie Schaubach in B-Division.
