Equestrian Wins High Point Honors at Opening Show

AIKEN, S.C. - The College of Charleston equestrian team won champion high point team on Sunday at the opening IHSA Regional competition.

"So incredibly pleased with our team this weekend, and how they performed at our regions' season opener," said head coach Natasha McCarthy. "I felt our riders were very prepared and it showed in every ride. Thank you to the host colleges & their horses for an amazing weekend!"

Kathryn McCarthy won overall Reserve High Point Rider on Saturday while Abby Barnes won overall High Point Rider on Sunday while Lainie Rubin was the Reserve High Point Rider. Additionally, Lily Borders qualified for regionals.
