
Cougars Defeat N.C. Wesleyan, Improve to 4-1

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team improve to 4-1 after defeating N.C. Wesleyan 112-40 on Saturday in TD Arena.
The Cougars took down the Battling Bishops in an all-around team effort, with all active players putting points on the board, including six players reaching double digits.
The team was led by Alexis Andrews, who finished the day with 21 points, going three-for-nine from beyond the arch and perfect from the charity stripe.
Zoe McCrary saw a career-high 11 points, supported by a perfect performance in the paint, as well as on the free-throw line.
The Cougars' offense overpowered N.C. Wesleyan, shooting above 50 percent, and giving Charleston its third 90+ point game of the season.
With a pressuring defense, the Cougars were able to find 46 points from turnovers with 18 steals. Seven players tallied steals in the contest, led by Jenna Annecchiarico with a season-high of six.
