Women's Basketball Travels to Coastal Carolina

CONWAY, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will travel the short distance to Conway, S.C. to take on Coastal Carolina. The game will tip off at 1 p.m. at HTC Center.
The Cougars currently sit on a three-game winning streak, defeating local rivals Charleston Southern before returning home for the holidays to take down Gardner-Webb and N.C. Wesleyan.
The last time Charleston started a season with only one loss after five games was during the 2009-2010 season. A win on Saturday would give the Cougars their first 5-1 record since 2008-2009.
The Cougar offense has already achieved three 90+ point games this season. Five players are averaging double-digits, with three reaching double-doubles already this season.
Jenna Annecchiarico currently sits on top of the leaderboard, leading the NCAA in assists per game with 9.25. She recently broke the school record for most assists in a same game with 13.

The Chanticleers come into the matchup with a 4-3 record. Coastal Carolina started their season on the road for four straight games, taking on two ACC opponents and most recently falling to UNCG.
