
Women's Basketball Returns Home to Face Jacksonville State

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball returns home after a pair of road tests to face Jacksonville State. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Cougars are coming off a close loss to Appalachian State as Charleston was unable to complete the comeback, though outscoring the Mountaineers 22-10 in the fourth quarter.
Charleston was led by Jenna Annecchiario, tallying 20 points, six rebounds and four steals. Annecchiarico has 20 or more points in three of the last four games.
Anika McGarity and Alexis Andrews also reached double figures with 13 and 10, respectively. Andrews has five double-digit scoring efforts this year, and McGarity has three.
Remaining undefeated in TD Arena, the Cougars are looking to improve their home record to 4-0 on Monday evening.

Jacksonville State holds a 3-5 record, most recently falling to Samford on the road. The Gamecock's trip to Charleston will serve as their fourth consecutive road contest.
With a heavy schedule, Jacksonville State has faced two SEC opponents early in the season, falling to Auburn and Mississippi State.
The Gamecocks are led by Kristol Ayson, averaging 9.6 points per game. Ayson saw a season high 19 points against Utah State.
