Cougars Host Radford to Close 2023

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will end the 2023 year at home, hosting Radford on Thursday at 12:00 p.m.
Charleston picked up another win on Tuesday against South Carolina State in record-breaking fashion. The Cougars dominated the second quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 28-9, leading to the 84-64 win.
Alexis Andrews poured in a career-high 32 points with eight rebounds. Andrews also set career-best marks for field goals (10-17) and three-pointers (9-13) in the effort.
Jenna Annecchiarico broke the Charleston single-game assist record for the second time this season. The fifth year dished out 14 helpers, adding 10 points for her second double-double of the year.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Radford enters the matchup 4-8, coming off a victory versus Queens (NC). The Highlanders have faced a heavy schedule, taking on Penn State and Virginia Tech in their non-conference play.
The Highlanders are led by Ashlyn Traylor-Walker, averaging 16.6 points per game. Traylor-Walker saw a season high 25 points in Radford's contest against Western Carolina.
Terissa Lavoile-Brice also contributes, leading the team in rebounds with one double-double thus far this season.
