Women's Basketball Set to Face Appalachian State

BOONE, N.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will continue on the road to Boone to face the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
The Cougars are on a four-game winning stretch, after taking down Coastal Carolina in overtime on Saturday.
Charleston was led by Jenna Annecchiario, who had a season-high 27 points. Annecchiarico saw all 45 minutes of action for the Cougars, also finishing 9-10 from the free throw line to help solidify the win.
Jada Logan also saw 20+ points, tallying 21 points in Conway, including the game-winning layup. Taryn Barbot also contributed to the win with double-digits.
In lieu of the road victory, head coach Robin Harmony secured her 300th career win. With the help of winning records at St. Thomas (FL) and Lamar, Harmony reaches the milestone in her 19th year as a head coach.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Mountaineers come into the matchup with a 4-2 record, most recently falling to Davidson on the road. This matchup will serve as Appalachian State's first home matchup since November 11, after finding success in Puerto Rico for the Thanksgiving Basketball Clasico.
Appalachian State is being led by Faith Alston, averaging 14.7 points per game. Also averaging double-digits for the Mountaineers is Emily Carver with 12 points per game.
