Cougars Claim Victory at SAISA North Spring Tournament

CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston sailing cruised to a 14-point win Saturday on the waters of the Wando River to capture the SAISA North Spring title.

Charleston won five of the six races across both A and B divisions posting 8 total points besting NC State (22 points) and Clemson (28 points). Led by Harrison Thomson Grace Beard, Charleston posted five points in Division A winning two of the three races and finishing no lower than third.

In Division B, Elliot Raison and Paige Lubrano won all three of their races for a dominant three points besting Clemson and Wake Forest by nine.

Saturday's win on the Wando was the Cougars' sixth of the 2022-23 sailing season and first of the spring.
