Equestrian Travels to Georgia Southern

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston equestrian team returns action this weekend after a successful fall show.

To kick off the 2022-2023 season, the equestrian team hosted the College of Charleston Horse Show in November where the Cougars earned team high point honors. Next up, the team travels to the Georgia Southern Horse Show to compete in a two-day event on February 4 and 5.

"Excited to get back on the road with the team! With only one double header in the fall we are "chomping at the bit" for more ring time this spring season, " said head coach Natasha V. McCarthy. "The team is looking strong both as a whole and as individual riders, therefore I am strategizing my best for another strong post-season ahead."

The Cougars gave an impressive performance last year at Georgia Southern, earning high point on day two of the show and having several memorable performances at Evermore Farm.
