CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston beach volleyball heads back to the Sunshine State and Jacksonville for the Duuuval Duals hosted by North Florida.
Fresh off a 3-2 weekend across town at the Jacksonville Invitational, the Cougars are set to play four matches over two days including a pair of Sun Belt showdowns with Coastal Carolina and Mercer.
Ella Reames and Tynley Smeltzer paced the Charleston lineup last weekend finishing 4-1 overall (1-0 Sun Belt) highlighted by a three-set victory over their counterparts from No. 8 Georgia State. Five Cougars also finished their weekend 3-2 including Sofie Vogel, Kora Hansen, Emma Falk and Kyra Thompson.
Charleston opens the weekend Friday morning at 10 a.m. with Coastal Carolina for the first of three meetings over the course of the season. The Cougars wrap their Friday with Jacksonville before playing the host UNF Saturday morning and Mercer Saturday afternoon.
