
Charleston Sails in Four Events Over the Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Fresh off a repeat at the Mendelblatt Open and fourth-place at the Phebe Cockran Open, Charleston sailing is set to take part in four events over the upcoming weekend.
Charleston hosts the Bob Bavier Open, sends a team north to the Graham Hall Open at the Naval Academy, sends a team to the west coast for the Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup hosted by Cal Maritime and takes part in the St. Mary's Women's Team Race.
The Cougars were led by a rotation of Axel Stordahl, Jack Howard and Brandon Geller at skipper while Noelle Owen, Lucy Klempen, Anna Sherry, Aiden Iaconis and Garrett Grenauer each crewed at least one race in the win in St. Petersburg.
Last season the Cougars placed third in the Bob Bavier Open, ninth in the Graham Hall Open and eighth in the Harbor Cup.
