WILLIAMSBURG, VA.—The College of Charleston women's tennis team fell 4-3 to UNCW in the CAA quarterfinals in Williamsburg, Virginia on Friday evening.

UNCW picked up the early 1-0 lead in doubles with wins on courts one and two.

Charleston fought hard in singles with three wins by Maja Jekauc, Ella Faessler, and Nicole Stephens. Slade Coetzee and Halli Trinkle forced a third set in their individual matches but ultimately fell short.

Charleston finished the season with a 16-6 record and 2-1 in the CAA. The Cougars had a six match win streak from March 11 through March 17.
