Cougars to Compete in Two SAISA Events

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing heads to the Sunshine State to take part in the SAISA Open Team Race and the SAISA Open Fleet Race and the Tillman Trophy this weekend.
Charleston will open the SAISA Open with a round robin consisting with races against The Citadel, Eckerd, NC State, Jacksonville, USF, Florida State and Miami with the potential for a second round robin Friday and a Top 6 or Top 4 round Saturday.
The Open Fleet Race will see the Cougars face off with Clemson, Duke, Eckerd, Embry-Riddle, Florida Tech, Florida State, Jacksonville, NC State, Rollins, The Citadel, UCF, Miami, UNCW, USF, South Carolina and Wake Forest across two divisions.
Saturday's Fleet Race will begin after the conclusion of the Open with report time set for 2 p.m. then Sunday's schedule starts at 10 a.m.
Charleston will send a rotation of Noah Zittrer, Axel Stordahl, Brandon Geller, Jack Howard, Garrett Grenauer, Lucy Klempen, Noelle Owen and Anna Sherry in search of more SAISA crowns.
