CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will remain home to host Monmouth on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
Charleston improved to 3-0 in CAA play following a 60-48 win over Drexel. The Cougars used an 11-0 run late in the third to gain an insurmountable 16-point lead.
Alexis Andrews scored a game-high 17 points. She knocked down four of the Cougars' five three-pointers on the night, adding three rebounds and three steals.
Jada Logan added 10 points in 17 minutes off the bench. Logan went 5-of-5 from the floor and accounted for eight of Charleston's final 10 points in the contest.
A win for the Cougars would give Charleston their best CAA start ever. The last time Charleston has held a 4-0 start to conference play was 2009-10, in which the Cougars won their first four in the Southern Conference.
