
Cougars Travel to Boston to Face Northeastern

BOSTON, Mass. – College of Charleston women's basketball continues its road trip, traveling to Boston to take on Northeastern Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
Charleston dropped an 81-71 decision to Stony Brook on Friday. The game was within 10 points for the majority, but the Cougars could not come back after falling behind in the second.
Jenna Annecchiarico led Charleston with 22 points. The fifth-year guard added five assists, five steals and four rebounds in her homecoming. It makes her fifth game with 20 or more points this year.
Taryn Barbot continued a torrid stretch with 19 points and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds. Barbot has reached double figures in nine straight games and 12 this season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Northeastern went 2-0 this past weekend, defeating UNCW and Hofstra for its first conference victories of the season.
Deja Bristol led the team, averaging 15 points and eight rebounds per game. Bristol had her second double-double this year with 15 points and 12 bounds versus Hofstra.
Also aiding Northeastern is Jaelyn Batts, who most recently tallied 17 points against UNCW.
The Cougars and the Huskies met twice last season, splitting the series.
