
Cougars Set to Host UNCW

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will return home to TD Arena to host rival UNCW on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Charleston split its games this past weekend weekend, falling to Stony Brook (81-71) on Friday before bouncing back with a victory over Northeastern (83-46) on Sunday.
Jenna Annecchiarico had back-to-back 20-point efforts, averaging 21.0 points per game. She has 20 or more in six games this season. Additionally, she tallied 12 steals and has two or more in seven straight games.
Taryn Barbot contributed 22.5 points per game, with 19 at SBU and 26 against NU. Barbot has reached double figures in 10 consecutive games and 13 this season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
UNCW went 1-1 over the weekend. The Seahawks won their first CAA contest, defeating Campbell (69-58) on Friday before falling to Hampton (72-50) on Sunday. The Seahawks are 3-14 overall this season.
Helping to lead UNCW, Mingaile Urmuleviciute had a career-high 15 points off the bench for UNCW. She went 7-of-8 from the floor in 15 minutes.
Also contributing to the Seahawks is freshman Sammy Ackles, tallying a career-high 12 points and matched her career-best with 10 rebounds.
