Women's Basketball Begins Conference Play at North Carolina A&T

GREENSBORO, N.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball will begin conference play on Friday versus North Carolina A&T.
Charleston closed its non-conference schedule 2-0, with wins over South Carolina State and Radford.
Alexis Andrews averaged 23.5 points per game, including a career-high 32 points against South Carolina State. She went 12-of-21 from behind the arc, with nine makes in her career effort.
Jenna Annecchiarico tallied 14.5 points and 11.5 assists per game for the Cougars. She recorded her second double-double this season with 10 points and a program-record 14 assists against South Carolina State.
The Cougars ended 2023 sweeping the CAA Weekly Awards, with Andrews earning Player of the Week and Taryn Barbot for Rookie of the Week. Andrews' performance also received national attention, as she received USBWA National Player of the Week honors to end the year.
