CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team welcomes Division II Tusculum to TD Arena on Tuesday, December 3. Action is set for 7:00 p.m.

STORYLINES
- The Cougars defeated Northern Kentucky, 79-64, on November 27 to move to 5-2 on the year. Derrin Boyd led Charleston with 22 points, his best in a Cougar uniform. He was 4-4 from three-point range in first half, going 5-7 overall.
- Ante Brzovic notched his third double-double of the season vs. the Norse and 11th overall with 11 points and 13 rebounds. He was four assists away from a triple-double, dishing out six on the day. The senior is just 24 points away from 1,500 career points.
- Charleston sank 11 triples in the contest, their second most this season.
- Brzovic ranks third in the nation in total defensive rebounds per game (9.43), 14th in rebounds per game (10.1), and 19th in points per game (21.0). Fellow senior CJ Fulton ranks 13th in assist/turnover ratio (4.57).
- Tusculum enters the contest 3-5 overall and will face their first and only Division I opponent this season in the Cougars. This will be the fourth meeting between the programs, but the first for the Cougars since entering Division I play. The game will be played as an exhibition contest for Tusculum.
- The Pioneers compete in the Southern Athletic Conference and were picked to finish fifth in the SAC Preseason Poll. Sophomore guard Bryce Jackson was named to the Preseason All-Conference second team while senior center Akeem Odusipe was named to the SAC's Players to Watch List.
- Tusculum head coach JT Burton recorded his 100th win at Tusculum last Tuesday vs Newberry. Malachi Hale led all players in the victory over Newberry with 24 points, going 9-12 from the floor including 5-8 from three-point territory.
