Men's Golf Finishes Strong in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, PR. - The College of Charleston men's golf team finished 11-under at Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue.
Loran Appel (-4), Zach Reuland (-4) and Max Dupree (-2) all finished under par. Appel tied for the top par 4 scoring (3.83) and sank 14 birdies during the tournament with a collegiate low round of 67. He rose 26 spots on the final day of play with seven birdies.
The loaded field featured six teams in Top 25 in #4 Ole Miss, #6 Tennessee, #9 ETSU, #13 Virginia, #5 Oklahoma, and #25 Ohio State.
