Dupree Lands in Top Ten at Wake Forest Invitational

PINEHURST, N.C. - College of Charleston junior Max Dupree finished T6 at the Pinehurst No. 2 Wake Forest Invitational to lead the Cougars.

This is Dupree's second top ten finish of the spring after finishing T4 at the Battle at Briar's Creek. After climbing 11 spots during the second round, Dupree posted three birdies in the final round and rose two more position for a 71 final round and 3-over tournament.

Charleston finished T7 (+27) in a field that featured three Top 25 teams and ahead of two Power 5 programs.

Kieron van Wyk posted a 70 final round with five birdies including back-to-back on 10 and 11. Another highlight of the day was Waymon Thomas' eagle on five.

The Cougars return to action on March 18 at the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach.
