Men's Golf Prepares for Pinehurst

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's golf team will head to the Wake Forest Invitational on March 4-5 at Pinehurst No. 2 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The team will play 36-holes on Monday, followed by an 18-hole round on Tuesday.
The Cougars are coming off an 11-under finish at the Puerto Rico Classic. Loran Appel (-4), Zach Reuland (-4) and Max Dupree (-2) all finished under par. Appel tied for the top par-4 scoring (3.83) and sank 14 birdies during the tournament with a collegiate low round of 67.
College of Charleston's Zach Reuland had an impressive final round at last year's tournament to earn a T-14 with three birdies in the final round while Max Dupree rose nine spots in the final day of competition to finish T22. Just one golfer in the entire field finished under par in the tournament.
The field features three top 25 teams, including No. 1 Auburn.
