Cougars Begin Road Trip at Hofstra

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - College of Charleston women's basketball will begin their weekend road trip in Hempstead, N.Y., facing the Hofstra Pride on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Five Cougars reached double figures as Charleston rolled to a 97-58 road victory over UNCW on Sunday. CofC has won three straight games and six of its past seven.
Jenna Annecchiarico paced the Cougars with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting. She added six rebounds, five steals and four assists. It marks her eighth 20-point performance this winter.
Zoe McCrary recorded her first-ever double-double in the victory. The senior contributed 11 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Hofstra currently sits with a season record of 9-14 and 3-9 in conference play.
The Pride went 1-1 this weekend, falling to Stony Brook (81-48) on the road Friday before returning home for a victory over Northeastern (66-46) on Sunday.
The Pride is led by Emma Von Essen, who had 22 points last game, marking her third game of the season with over 20 points. Also contributing is Ally Knights who had 5 assists in their win against the Huskies.
Tip off is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Mack Sports Complex.
