Cougars Hold Third in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. - The College of Charleston women's golf team fell one spot to third place after the second round of the UCF Challenge in Orlando. Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the final round will take place tomorrow due to weather with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Charleston shot a 289 team total for a 1-over day. The team is 5-under of the tournament and is four strokes back from second place Miami.

"We had another good day. We are in a good position to have a great finish this week," said head coach Jamie Futrell.

Adrian Anderson remains in the top ten at T8 after a par round (72). With four birdies in the second round, Anderson has shot the third most birdies through Sunday at the tournament with 11. Emily Dunlap recorded five birdies for a 1-under day.

"Congrats to Emily on another great round and to all the team on their solid play thus far this week."
