CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston women's tennis team took down Samford 6-1 on Wednesday at Patriots Point.
The Cougars began the day taking the doubles point. Peyton Brotzman and Jaiden McKee secured the point on court two as Anna Neyestani and Francesca Salvato took the set on court three.
Charleston continued to overpower Samford with five wins in singles play, as McKee and Maja Jekauc defeated their opponents with two sets. Three Cougars battled in three sets and found the victory, including Elle Bredemann who came back from a 6-1 deficit in the first set to take the win.
