CHARLESTON, S.C.- College of Charleston men's tennis defeated Davidson 4-3 on Saturday afternoon to leave North Carolina with a pair of wins.
The Cougars dropped the doubles point to start the day, but was able to dominate in singles play to seal the match for Charleston.
"After losing the doubles point, the boys regrouped and came out on a mission," said head coach
Jay Bruner. "All four of the points we won took a ton of grit and extra work during the points Bernie getting the chance to clinch the match with everyone watching was a big moment that he worked for. Eddie set up the finish by winning in 3 after JD grabbed his match in a close two sets. It was a great effort from the team."
