CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston baseball student-athletes are competing across the country this summer in collegiate summer leagues. While some teams are just getting underway, several Cougars have already made an impact in their respective leagues.
Cavan McMeans, Cropdusters (Ripken)
McMeans has made six appearances with 23 at-bats with four RBI and a homer.
Nick Foster, Florence Flamingos (CPL)
Foster has played in 15 games for the Flamingos with ten hits, six runs and three RBI.
Dariyan Pendergrass, Lexington County (CPL)
Pendergrass has played in eight contests, totaling nine hits, 11 runs, and five RBI with a .300 batting average.
Kevin Steelman, Lexington County (CPL)
Steelman has appeared on the mound in four games, totaling 16 strikeouts with a 2.25 ERA.
