Van Wyk Earns Third Consecutive BCGCA All-America Honor

NORMAN, Okla. - College of Charleston senior Kieron van Wyk has earned his third consecutive Black College Golf Coaches Association All-America honor announced Monday by the Black College Golf Coaches Association and Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Black College Golf Coaches Association and Golf Coaches Association of America have partnered to present the third annual BCGCA Awards. The awards honor black college golfers from all backgrounds and across all divisions of college golf. Honors include the Adrian Stills Award (Black College Golfer of the Year), HBCU Golfer of the Year, BCGCA All-America Team, BCGCA and HBCU Outstanding Freshmen of the Year, BCGCA All-Freshmen Team, and BCGCA and HBCU Coaches of the Year.
van Wyk, who captured the CAA individual title this season along with teammate Zach Reuland, was named the inaugural Black College Golfer of the Year in 2022 and earned a spot on the All-America Team last season.
A two-time CAA individual champion, the junior from South Africa earned five top 20 finishes in a row to close out the season culminating in the CAA title. He finished the regular season with a 70.9 stroke average.
