TOWSON, Md. – College of Charleston lost to North Carolina A&T (22-25, 17-25, 25-27) in the first round of the CAA Championship Thursday afternoon at SECU Arena.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST NORTH CAROLINA A&T:
- Freshman Caroline Noonan hit .412 with 10 kills and five blocks in the loss.
- Graduate Izzy Marinelli recorded 11 kills and three digs Thursday.
- Freshman Jumana Martin had 18 digs Thursday along with one assist.
- Junior Lauren Dow tallied 30 assists, nine digs and a block.
OF NOTE:
- Charleston is now 4-5 in the all-time series with North Carolina A&T.
- Martin finished the season tied with McKala Rhodes (2018) for the seventh-most digs in a season in the Rally Scoring Era with 575 digs.
- Martin's 5.13 digs per set was good for seventh in school history.
- CofC's 164 service aces in 2025 finished eighth in program history in the Rally Scoring Era.
