Women's Basketball Faces Seahawks

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team will travel to North Carolina, taking on UNCW on Sunday, February 16. Tipoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. inside the Trask Coliseum.

OPENING TIP

Charleston hits the road this Sunday for a key conference showdown against UNCW, winning four of their last five games in conference play.
The Cougars ended last weekend 1-1 in conference play, falling to North Carolina A&T before bouncing back at home against Northeastern.
Offensively, Charleston continues to be led by Taryn Barbot, who averages 14.3 points per game, while Taylor Barbot follows closely behind with 11.7 points per contest.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

UNCW returns to its home court with a 12-12 overall record and a 6-5 mark in conference play.
The Seahawks are 7-4 at home this season.
This will be the first meeting between Charleston and UNCW this season.
The Seahawks are led by Ali Zelaya and Taylor Henderson, who each average 12 points per game.
