Beach Volleyball Starts 2025 Season at Coastal Invite

CHARLESTON, SC - The College of Charleston beach volleyball team will kick off the 2025 season at the Coastal Invite hosted by Coastal Carolina. The Cougars will start the season with matches vs. Wingate and Erskine on Friday, February 21 before taking on ULM and Carson-Newman on Saturday, February 22.
The Cougars, who were picked to finish fifth in the Sunbelt Preseason Poll, return 11 players from the 2024 roster while welcoming nine newcomers to the sand. Charleston ended last season with a 11-19 record and won a match at the Sunbelt Championship for the second consecutive season.
Charleston is undefeated in the all-time series vs. Erskine (8-0) and Carson-Newman (3-0), and hold the all-time edge vs. ULM (3-1). This will be the first ever meeting between Charleston and Wingate.
