Cougars Return to Virginia Beach for CAA Indoor Championships

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston track and field team returns to the Virginia Beach Sports Center for the CAA Indoor Championships on Wednesday and Thursday.
Three Cougars who scored in individual events at last year's indoor meet will be competing this week, including Tonet Tallie (third place) and Madison Jent (sixth) in the pole vault and Kinsley Allen, who was seventh in the high jump.
Tallie and Jent also rank second and third, respectively, in the school indoor record book while two other pole vault entries, freshmen Charlotte Elliston (fifth) and Boston Stringer (tenth) are also in the top 10. Allen currently stands fourth in the high jump.
Emma Townsend will be in two of the sprint events and enters ranked second in school history in the 200m and fourth in the 60m. Cayden Crismon made her way back into the records in the 3000m in eighth at the USC Invitational and will run that distance this week.
Emily Kreek, who is second in school annals in the 60m hurdles, is also slated to compete in that event. Long jumper Gabby David is also second in the long jump, and Abby Fush is fourth in the triple jump. Fush is also entered in the long jump.
Rounding out the Cougar entries are Abby Mogg, Sydney Peer and Courtney Kearns in the 800m and Aine Trapp in the mile.
