CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston women's basketball team bounced back with an 89-41 victory over Northeastern on Sunday afternoon inside TD Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cougars started off hot with seven of the first eight points coming from Taryn Barbot.
Charleston finished the game with 15 buckets from beyond the arc, led by Sophia Tougas and Taryn Barbot with four apiece.
The Cougar bench contributed with 32 points with double-digit scoring from five players.
The CofC defense forced 24 turnovers converted to 20 points.
Charleston controlled the rim, outrebounding their opponent 43-25, grabbing 20 second chance points.

LEADING COUGARS

Taryn Barbot helped lead the Cougars with 15 points on the day, after a perfect first quarter left her five-for-five in shooting.
Sophia Tougas also grabbed 15 points, knocking down four triples in the fourth quarter.
Lara Rohkohl grabbed her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Jazmyn Stone went four-for-five from the three-point line for 13 points in the contest.
