van Wyk Prepares for Valspar Championship

PALM HARBOR, Fla. - After a top ten finish at his PGA Tour debut at the Puerto Rico Classic, College of Charleston senior Kieron van Wyk has earned a spot in this week's Valspar Championship.
The Valspar is played on Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course from March 17-23 and is a part of PGA TOUR's FedEx Cup.
van Wyk finished T4 (-19) to punch his ticket to Palm Harbor. The South Africa native is currently ranked No. 15 in the Clippd NCAA individual rankings and No. 1 in the Bridgestone APGA Collegiate Rankings.
van Wyk will begin play on Thursday, March 20 at 9:36 a.m. He will play with Americans Ricky Castillo and John Pak.
