Cougars Split Weekend in North Carolina

ELON, N.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team split their weekend in North Carolina, defeating North Carolina A&T on Friday before falling to Elon on Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars kicked off the weekend with a 7-0 sweep on Friday afternoon against the Aggies. After securing the doubles point, Charleston won all six matches of singles play to grab the win.
CofC fell on Saturday morning to Elon 7-0. Oziera Ahmad battled to a third set on court 3, but was unable to secure the point for the Cougars.
Charleston will remain on the road to face Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, April 9. Doubles play will begin at 2:00 p.m.
