
Cougars Prepare for CAAs at East Coast Relays

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston track and field team competes in its final tune-up before the CAA Championships at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Fla., on Friday and Saturday.
Thirteen athletes are entered in 10 events in the two-day meet at North Florida's Hodges Stadium. Jeorgi Gavalas (800m, 1500m), Savannah Stoutt (5000m, 3000m steeplechase), Emily Kreek (100m and 400m hurdles) and Abby Fush (long and triple jumps) are scheduled in two events.
Also competing on the track will be Andie Harding and Abby Mogg (800m), Katie O'Toole (1500m), Cayden Crismon (5000m) and Caroline Cassidy (400m hurdles). Kinsley Allen (high jump), Gabby David (long jump) and Tonet Tallie and Madison Jent (pole vault) are entered in the field events.
The same group of athletes are also slated to compete at the CAA Championships on May 14-15 in Greensboro, N.C.
