CHARLESTON, S.C. -  College of Charleston beach volleyball head coach Damian Elder has announced the addition of five student-athletes to the 2026 roster.

Jordan Patrick and Harleigh King will join the Cougars as true freshmen while Madison Loving, Paige Clark and Holly Hopkins complete the transfer class.

"We are humbled, inspired, and grateful for the incoming group of freshmen and transfers beginning in the fall of 2025. Jordan Patrick and Harleigh King are energetic and experienced freshmen, while the transfers, Madison Loving, Paige Clark, and Holly Hopkins, bring a varied skillset and seasoned enthusiasm to our program," said Elder. "We expect great things from them in the classroom, in the community, and on the court, and they will make our team stronger as players and people. Go Cougs!"

A native of Lewisville, Texas, Patrick trained with Madsand Volleyball for two seasons making back-to-back appearances at the BVCA National Championship. A member of the Hebron indoor volleyball team, the Hawks finished with a 35–7 record, going undefeated in district play and advancing to the third round of the 6A state playoffs.

King joins the Cougars from North Bend, Washington where she trained on the sand with Sudden Impact and Dakine Volleyball Club. She won both the Texas and Washington BVCA Open and placed second at BCVA Nationals. She was a state champion indoors, earning second team all-conference honors.

Loving makes her way to Charleston after a season in the sand at UAB. She made an appearance in one match on court 6 and was a CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient.

Clark joins the Cougars after four years as a member of the University of Montana indoor volleyball team. She finished her career indoors as a three-time All-Big Sky Selection that ranked sixth in program history in kills (1,273) and 10th in aces (129).

Hopkins makes her way to the beach after two years playing indoor volleyball at American University. As a freshman, she ranked second on the team in total kills and fourth in kills per set. Prior to American, she played both indoor and beach volleyball at Mater Dei High School.
