Bailey Announces 2025 Cross Country Schedules

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston will compete in six cross country meets this fall head coach Chris Bailey announced Monday.
"Our coaching staff and team are looking forward to the cross country season. We return a majority of our scorers and team leaders from last year and will introduce a talented group of newcomers," said Bailey.
The Cougars open the season at the Covered Bridge Invitational hosted by App State on August 29. The team returns to Boone on October 3 to compete in the Fire Tower Project for the fourth time in the past five years.
Charleston will race once in the month of September at the Chanticleer Challenge before finishing the regular season October 18 at the Upstate Invitational.
"The meet schedule allows us to build momentum over the course of the season and test our fitness on a variety of courses."
The CAA Championship will be held on October 31 in Lakewood, N.J, before the NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlottesville, Va. on November 14.
