CHARLESTON, S.C. – Four Cougars scored in double-figures as the College of Charleston men's basketball team earned their sixth straight victory, an 88-79 triumph over William & Mary to remain undefeated in conference play.

- Chol Machot opened the game with back-to-back emphatic dunks before William & Mary went on an 8-0 run to take the 11-4 lead at the first media timeout.
- The Cougars proceeded to go on a 11-1 run to take a 15-12 lead in a stretch that featured swarming defense from Christian Reeves in the post.

- Charleston held William & Mary to 1-13 from the field in the midst of a 22-4 run to take a 46-32 lead entering the locker room. Martin Kalu and Chris Davis Jr. led the Cougars with eight points each in the opening twenty minutes while holding the Tribe to 24% from the field.
- William & Mary opened the half with nine straight points before cutting the deficit to one at 48-47. Kalu kickstarted a momentum shift with back-to-back buckets for a 10-0 swing in favor of Charleston with 13 minutes remaining in the game.
- Charleston the lead for the remainder of the contest with back-to-back triples from Connor Hickman and Colby Duggan shutting the door on W&M in the final minute of action.

KEY COUGARS
- Duggan and Kalu led the Charleston offense with 17 points each followed by CAA Player of the Week Jlynn Counter with 16 and Chris Davis Jr. with 11.
- Reeves and Machot grabbed ten rebounds apiece. Reeves swatted a career-high four blocks while Machot added one, marking his 11th straight game with a block.
- Counter dished out a game-high six assists to go with six rebounds.
- Duggan matched his career-high four assists in his third game back from injury.

GAME NOTES
- Charleston shot 47% from the field compared to 33% from the Tribe. The Cougars held W&M to their lowest first half total so far this season.
- The Cougars had 47 rebounds, the most for the program this season against Division I competition.
- Charleston tied their season high with 11 threes made.
- The Cougars move to 13-10 all-time against the Tribe with eight straight wins at home in Charleston.
