DMR Sets School Records at Tryon Mid-Winter Invite

MILL SPRING, N.C. – Charleston track and field competed in the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational February 13 & 14 in Mill Spring, North Carolina.
Friday, Charleston raced two teams in the distance medley relay consisting of Abby Mogg, Caroline Cassidy, Andie Harding, and Savannah Stoutt for the A team and Kiley DeFusco, Mia Romer, Lucy Alexander, and Katie O'Toole for team B. Both teams entered the Charleston record book with the top three and top five times.
Tori-Ann Anderson and Kinsley Allen competed in the high jump placing first and second respectively. Anderson jumped 1.70m and Allen jumped 1.65m.
On Saturday in the 60m, Emma Townsend and Trinity Jones both ran a 7.92 placing ninth and tenth.
Mogg won the mile with a time of 4:57.47 and Kiley DeFusco placed fourth running a time of 5:04.13. Alexander placed third in the 800m with a time of 2:16.17.
In the pole vault, the Cougars took first through third with Elaine Zhai marking 3.80m for the win.
