CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's basketball team (15-8, 8-2) hosts North Carolina A&T (9-12, 2-8) on Thursday, February 5 for the first of two meetings with the Aggies this season. Action is set for 7:00 p.m. at TD Arena.

GAME DAY REMINDERS
In order to sell and/or serve an alcoholic beverage in TD Arena, the following requirements apply:
As fans enter the main entrance of TD Arena on November 3, they will see new walk-through magnetometers, or metal detectors. In addition to the existing Clear Bag and prohibited items policy at TD Arena, the magnetometers are a new added security feature to enhance the safety of our fans.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
STORYLINES
- The Cougars are 5-1 all-time against the Aggies, having won five straight dating back to 1993.
- Charleston is coming off a 89-84 victory over Northeastern on Saturday in Boston. After a back-and-forth affair, the Cougars took their largest lead of the game at 82- 78 with a minute to play on a Jlynn Counter floater. Charleston ended the game on a 13-2 run, with all 13 points belonging to Counter, while going 10-12 from the field to secure the win. The Cougars committed a season-low five turnovers against the Huskies.
- The win was Charleston's fifth win this season and second straight when trailing at the half. Chris Mack's program is now 7-0 in games decided by five points or less.
- Counter earned his third CAA Player of the Week honor after his performances at Hofstra and Northeastern. The graduate student averaged 25.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 8.0 apg in the Cougars' 2-0 week posting back-to-back double-doubles, the second and third of his career. He leads the CAA in assists with 119 on the year. The Oklahoma City native has made 108 free throws so far this season and is currently tied for 18th in a single season in school history. He leads a Cougar squad that ranks 27th nationally in free throw attempts per game (25.4) and 27th in makes per game (18.6).
- Charleston ranks 37th in the country in defensive rebounds per game (27.39) and leads the CAA through conference play in total boards.
- Redshirt sophomore Chol Machot is third in the nation in total blocks (61) and fourth in blocks per game (2.65). He has recorded at least four blocks on eight separate occasions.
- The entire Cougar starting lineup of Counter, Connor Hickman, Martin Kalu, Colby Duggan, and Christian Reeves is currently averaging double-figure scoring.
- In celebration of Black History Month, College of Charleston Athletics will honor former men's basketball player Jermel President as the 2026 Cougar Trailblazer. President is the founder of the DAE (Delores and Estelle) Foundation, whose mission is to educate and train student-athletes to become skilled, effective and responsible citizens of their communities through basketball. GAME DAY REMINDERS
- Doors will open 1.5 hours prior to tip-off.
- Concession stands will open when doors open, and the Cougar Spirit Shop will open one hour prior to tip-off.
- Add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay App prior to arriving at TD Arena for the smoothest entry experience.
- Don't forget the College of Charleston has implemented a Clear Bag Policy for athletics events. CLICK HERE to read the policy.
- An ADA drop-off lane is provided in the right-hand lane traveling along Meeting Street next to TD Arena.
In order to sell and/or serve an alcoholic beverage in TD Arena, the following requirements apply:
- Moving forward, a valid ID is required to be scanned/swiped for each transaction.
- Vertical IDs will not be accepted at sales locations regardless of the individual's age.
- All ID checks will be handled directly by our Aramark concession partners at each stand. EPI staff will no longer check ID's or provide wristbands.
- No more than two (2) alcoholic beverages may be sold or served per transaction.

- Fans will enter TD Arena at the Meeting Street entrance.
- Once inside, fans will be asked to take their belongings out of their pockets and place them in a bin. This includes phone, wallet, keys, etc.
- If you bring a bag compliant with the Clear Bag policy, your items can be placed in the bag.
- EPI security staff will provide guidance on when to walk through the magnetometer and assist in retrieving your belongings after you clear through the magnetometer.
- Finally, approach the pedestal ticket scanners at the base of the stairs, scan your tickets, and cheer on the Cougars!
- Fans can watch the broadcast live on FloCollege and the Varsity App with the Voice of the Cougars Everett German and Danny Johnson on the call.
- Thursday's contest will also air for free on FloCollege YouTube.
