Men's Golf Earns Top Three Finish in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's golf team earned a top three finish at The Michael A. Marino Classic, topping four Power 4 programs and three top 50 programs with a 3-under finish.
The Cougars recorded the lowest team total of the second round with a 12-under performance that featured three eagles from rookie Jules Lauer, the first time in program history a Cougar has recorded three in a single round. Lauer's 66 card ties the lowest round this season for a Cougar, matching a Miles Eubanks performance from the fall.
Johan Bredenkamp led Charleston with a top ten finish at T8 (-5). The rookie totaled 14 birdies across three rounds. Eubanks joined Bredenkamp with a below par performance, finishing T11 (-3). Eubanks totaled just one bogey in the final round.
Charleston returns to action on March 22 at the Hootie at Bulls Bay hosted by South Carolina.
