Beach Volleyball Picks Up Two Wins at Sun Belt Midseason

ATLANTA, Ga. - The College of Charleston beach volleyball team picked up wins over Mercer and ULM at the Sun Belt Midseason Tournament this weekend.
The Cougars started Friday with a 4-1 win over Mercer with wins on court 1, 2, 3, and 5 all in straight sets. The win is the first for the Cougars over the Bears since April 2023.
Charleston followed the victory up with a thrilling 3-2 win over ULM on Saturday. The Cougars again earned their three dual wins in straight sets on court 2, 3, and 5.
The Cougars dropped matches 5-0 to Southern Miss and Georgia State to end the weekend 2-2.
The Sandy Cougs return to action April 1 when the program travels to Conway for matches against Coastal Carolina and Wingate.
