Senior (2017-2018): Competed in both Fall tournaments for the College... represented the Cougars at the ITA Carolina Regional ... Played the ace position for the Cougars in singles, compiling a 12-13 record on the year ... Went 12-7 in doubles play, appearing in flight two alongside Rachel McNeely ... Picked up a pair of CAA Tournament wins, defeating Delaware in F2 doubles 7-5 before prevailing against the Blue Hens' ace Brooke Pilkington 6-2, 6-2 ... Played a strong match against No. 23 ranked Lauren Proctor of Winthrop, but was edged 7-5, 7-5 ... Finished her career as one of six players in CofC history to earn four ITA Scholar Athlete nods
Junior (2016-17): Competed in two Fall tournaments for the College ... Went a perfect 2-0 in A3 singles play and 3-0 in A2 Doubles play with Liza Fieldsend at the CofC Invitational ... Captured the Flight Three Doubles Championship at the CofC Classic, teaming up with Anastasia Palaska to go 3-0 against Kamal/Kelic of Winthrop (6-0), Pool/Kilauff of Samford (6-0) and Smith/Dankanych of Marshall (6-3) ... Saw action in 10 spring matches due to missing six weeks with a lower body injury ... Posted a 7-3 dual singles record primarily at the No. 4 position, which was the third-highest winning percentage on the team ... Picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win over JMU's Jona Roka to help the College defeat the Dukes by a slim 4-3 margin ... Grinded out a 7-6(3), 7-5 win over UNCW's Xandra Fougner to seal the victory for the Cougars on senior day ... Won six of her first seven matches of the season ... Posted a 3-2 doubles record, playing alongside Mara Argyriou, Sarah Zschunke and Anastasia Palaska in the second and third flights
Sophomore (2015-16): Sat out the entire fall season while recovering from a lower body injury ... Was named the CAA Player of the Week on March 10 following a 4-0 week in singles and 2-1 week in doubles, in which she dispatched middle flight players from Hofstra, Rutgers, Spartanburg Methodist and USC Upstate in rather convincing fashion ... Competed in 26 matches for the Cougars during the spring season ... Tallied an outstanding 17-5 record in singles play, competing primarily in the fifth flight ... Rattled off a ten-match winning streak spanning from Feb 20 through Mar 15 ... Achieved an 8-8 record in doubles action, primarily competing in the second flight alongside Brooke McAmis
Freshman (2014-2015): In her freshman campaign, Nyikos recorded her first collegiate singles win against Winthrop's Kasey Gardiner 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, at the Cofc Tennis Complex on Feb. 1 which was also the lone win of the day for the Cougars... Had a 6-10 performance in singles play...Won two matches at the No. 5 position and four wins at the No. 6 position...Dominated Rutgers Lee Levy 6-1, 6-0, in a straight set victory at the CofC Tennis Complex on March 17... Picked up Cougar's sole double win against UNCG with partner Samantha Maddox on court 2.
