Sophomore (2018-19): Finishing 9-7 in singles in spring season, 8-7 in flight two, 1-0 in flight one... Earned All-CAA Singles Second Team honors... Clinched in 4-2 win over Tulane on Apr. 8... Won 6-3, 6-4 in CAA Semifinals in flight two against James Madison... Went 3-1 in doubles play with four different partners in all three flights.. Teamed up with Clara Errard, Christi Woodson and Anastasia Palaska in doubles wins.
Freshman (2017-18) - Played at the University of North Florida... Member of the 2018 ASUN championship team... Competed in 55 matches... Grabbed nine singles wins in dual matches, playing mainly at the No. 2 spot... Paired up with Lucia Montano to go 9-2 in overall doubles competition including a 4-1 mark in ASUN action... Won her first collegiate match with Florencia Rossi in doubles play against Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 21)... Won her first collegiate match in singles play against Yurina Asai of New Orleans (Jan. 26)...Defeated Danel Ashirova of Stetson (Mar. 24) in ASUN play.
Prior to CofC - Won the 2016 U18 Austrian Singles Championship, while also posting multiple wins as an Austrian Junior Doubles Champion... In 2015, she won the National's Women's Doubles Champion... Ranked 548 in the ITF Juniors Ranking and posted her best ranking in Austria's All-Women's marks at No. 9... Early in her career, Nyikos also had a chance to participate in the European Youth Olympic Games.
