JUNIOR (2009-10)

Emma Hayman had a great year, going 13-10 overall in singles play... was 5-2 in Southern Conference play... posted an 11-9 mark in No. 2 singles... has 18-6 record overall in doubles play... Teamed with Holly Dowse for a 17-6 record, 6-0 in Southern Conference play

PREVIOUS SCHOOL

Transferred from the University of New Mexico ...

SOPHOMORE (2008-09)
Hayman posted another strong year finishing with an overall record of 21-13 in singles play ... went 14-9 in spring play...18-0 when she wins the first set and 6-5 when she splits sets...won eight of her last 11 sets ... in doubles play, Hayman went 17-16 spending most of her time with partner Abou-Zekry at the No.1 position where the duo went 9-8. Hayman, along with doubles partner Abou-Zekry were named to the MWC All-Conference doubles team for 2009 ...  posted a 45-29 record in singles and 32-31 in doubles ... earned the UNM Scholar Athlete award in 2008 and 2009, the MWC Scholar Athlete award her freshman year as well as MWC Academic All-Conference and ITA Scholar Athlete.

FRESHMAN (2007-08)

Finished the season with an overall singles record of 24-16 and a doubles record of 15-15...went 15-9 in singles durign the spring switching between the fourth and fifth postition...went 7-9 in the spring primarily with Jennifer Ryba, Sandra Zmak and Victoria Tessmar...finished 6-4 with Tessmar playing at the No. 3 spot.
Fall 2007: Paired up with Jennifer Ryba for a 3-2 record... collected a 4-4 mark with Maria Sotirchos to have the best doubles record on the team at 8-6... went 9-7 in singles, including 3-0 at the BSU Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL

Graduated from Wanganui Collegiate School in Wanganui, New Zealand... lettered in tennis all five years... named head girl of Wanganui Collegiate in 2006.

PERSONAL

Born February 24, 1988, in Durban, South Africa... daughter of Dorstan and Jane Hayman... has one sister, Sarah-Jane... her name is pronounced HAY-min... majoring in Business with a focus on Marketing.
