Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point
The College of Charleston men's and women's soccer teams play at Patriots Point Athletics Complex in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The $6.5 million facility is home to the Cougar soccer, softball, as well as the baseball programs.Â
The main building is equipped with locker rooms, a meeting area and press areas for all teams. Also housed there are concessions and a full laundry facility. The 35-acre complex also includes softball and baseball practice fields as well as five Mt. Pleasant youth soccer fields. An expanded state-of-the-art training building that fulfills the medical needs of all the student-athletes at Patriots Point.Â
Patriots Point was completed in the fall of 2000 and was a collaborative effort between the College of Charleston, the Town of Mt. Pleasant, and the Patriots Point Development Authority. The complex operates on a joint agreement between Mt. Pleasant and CofC concerning the use and maintenance of the fields.
In addition to being the home of Charleston soccer, the facility also houses the Charleston Battery USL team.
